it sims tobe a wonderful day :-)

So thanks to Eilen I hear Sims 3 is in the works... uh-oh... I feel addiction vibes already!! :-) The main difference is the addition of some traits, some which complement others, some that are mutually exclusive, which will help create even more unique Sims, and of course, more varied interactions. But from the article, my first thought was ummm so more things will be done on autopilot? Then how much will be "sitting back and watching" versus actually playing god? Hmmm.....

Never mind that... I wonder how I'd name my sim this time around if I were to get my hands on it... back in 2002/2003 when I was majorly hooked, it was my Eminem phase, and so I named my sim(s) after his alter ego "Ken Keniff" - he's the one I "nurtured" all the way to superstardom, I was *so* proud of him! :-)

Although... I seem to have totally walked away from my Sim City 4 ... I even got the newest version recently - Sim City Societies - but have yet to install it, can you believe it? It's *all* Scramble's fault, LoL!

  1. Hiya!

    I can't f*****g wait for Sims3!!! Oh my GOD!!

As for names of my Sims; I find names for them in the oddest of places, like in the ingredients of a deodorant. *lol* I had one woman named Laureth Sylfathe, after the ingredients in a sterilan deodorant. I tihnk it sounds like a normal name... Another one is called Sulfame Aspartamm which is from a Tab x-tra bottle (kinda like coca cola)

Well, I am playing Sims 2 right now actually, so good luck on the Scramble.

    EV :-)

  2. My Sim surnames are always a compound nonsense word. It started b/c my first Sims were a couple named Basil & Penelope Suncatcher. Then I had MacLachlan and Cordelia Seastar. It went on from there (Pansydancer, Appleguard, Plumsugar, Snowfarmer, etc.). First names are fairly realistic (Henry, Desdemona, Miranda, Bianca, Leander, etc.)

There's already almost too much to keep track of in Sims2. I'm happy w/ Sims2 right now. I can't even wrap my brain around Sims 3. At this point, they need to include a robot maid for my own house.
