T minus Half: the "transformation"

[continuation from T minus Two & One]

I have an 11am appointment for hair and make-up.

She's a bit late.

We haven't ever met before; haven't had a trial run.

So we discuss some hairstyle possibilities, then she gets to work blowdrying, then lightly curling, then pinning things up. Taking down. Pinning up another way. Down. Up. etc etc etc.

Spent almost 3 hours with her.

Probably 2hr 50mins on hair, and 10mins a hurried application of foundation/concealer, blusher, light eyeshadow, matte powder. I so do NOT like make-up! But I figured it was a necessary evil for this one day [one ouwld want to be a glowing bride, not a shiny one, eh?], but even then, I did not want to be all dolled-up and unrecognizable. She still put on more than I would have liked. Maybe it was just choice of products? Eh. Whatever.

We'd pretty much come head on to the end of my allocated buffers - I had to throw her $$ at her while I hurried to add on the other stuff like belt, earrings, necklace, bracelet and throw on my boots too!

Then we rushed off to do the carpooling thing: 9 adults & 3 kids in 3 vehicles heading to the County COurthouse.

So you wanna see the "transformation?

[Hey, Dariush, does the "after" photo meet your challenge of posting an "artsy [photo] that doesn't really ID who [I am]"?]

Next post - "T" itself! Stay tuned!
